TRANSPORTATION

Principal Transport Planner - Thatcham, Berkshire (ref: 08.1.0.t.ptp)

To assist directors in heading up major development and infrastructure projects. Exciting opportunity for a self motivated person to advance a career in a forward thinking consultancy and manage major transportation projects. Candidates must be suitably qualified and experienced in transportation planning and associated disciplines and be capable of preparing and presenting evidence at public inquiries. Essential pre requisites: good prsentational skills (written and oral), numeracy, famiiliarity with and working knowledge of various analytical techniques and computer modelling, GTA, MfS, and latest guidelines and best practices on sustainability and accessibility.

Graduate Engineer (ref: 07.1.t.ge)

We are seeking an enthusiastic Graduate Engineer to join one of our Transportation teams. The successful candidate will assist senior team members with the preparation of technical reports and Environmental Statements The role will involve:

  • The preparation of traffic and transportation surveys and studies

  • Production of transportation assessments

  • Site Investigation.

You will need to demonstrate an interest and enthusiasm in Transportation Planning and preferably have a degree or diploma in Transportation Planning.


Senior Transport Planner (ref: 07.1.0.t.stp)

We are seeking an experienced Transportation Planner to help develop one of our busy Transportation sections. The role will involve:

  • Client interface and attendance at meetings

  • Preparation of technical reports, documents in connection with transportation and infrastructure commissions

  • Preparation of and giving evidence for Local LDF Planning Inquiries and Planning Appeals

  • Management of Junior Staff.

You will need to have a proven track record in the field of Transport Planning and be familiar with Central and local government planning policy guidance as well as current guidance regarding multi modal assessment and environmental impact appraisal.


ENVIRONMENTAL

Senior Engineer – Flood Studies and Sustainable Drainage Solutions (ref: 07.2.f.se)

We are seeking a Senior Engineer to assist in the preparation of Flood Risk Assessments and SUDs solutions. The role will involve:

  • The preparation of FRAs in accordance with the requirements of PPS25

  • Design of SUDs schemes

  • Preparation of written reports

  • Attendance at meetings with the approving authorities.

You should have a proven track record and experience in carrying out FRAs and drainage solutions and experience with HEC-RAS, ISIS, TUFLOW and Micro-Drainage.


Senior Environmental Engineer (ref: 07.2.a.see)

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer to assist in expanding our Environmental Planning service. The role would involve:

  • The development and management of our Environmental Planning team

  • Undertaking Air and Water Quality, Noise and Vibration Assessments

  • Assisting with multi-disciplinary commissions.

You will need to have proven experience and strong technical capabilities, with a detailed knowledge of relevant UK and European legislation. Expert witness experience is desirable, as the successful candidate will be involved in the presentation of evidence at Public Inquiries when necessary.


STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING

Structural Engineer (ref: 07.4.s.se)

We are seeking an experienced Structural l Engineer with sufficient experience to take responsibility for sections of projects. We are involved in a wide range of residential and commercial projects and seek a candidate with a good degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, posses good analytical skills and be familiar with the current codes of practices.
