October is Down Syndrome Awareness Month! 
With family members of SMA employees having Down Syndrome, this cause is especially close to our hearts! Their joy, resilience, and unique perspective on life reminds us every day how important it is to celebrate inclusion and individuality.
Our amazing team at Stuart Michael Associates is proud to be joining in the LotsOfSocks campaign with Stand Out Socks. Each team member received a pair of bright, standout socks to wear with pride – a fun and meaningful way to start conversations and show support for the Down syndrome community.
We encourage everyone to embrace opportunities to learn, understand, and support initiatives that promote inclusion. Whether it’s through conversations, events, or simply being an ally, every bit counts in building a culture of respect and appreciation for all.
And for our team of Transport Planners, the socks with bicycles on couldn’t be more fitting! They’re a perfect reminder that every small step (or pedal stroke) counts when it comes to creating inclusive, accessible, and connected communities.
