Your development is future-ready—with plenty of electric vehicle (EV) charging points to help you travel greener and cleaner. With the ban on new petrol and diesel cars coming in 2030, now is the perfect time to plug into the future of driving.
Thinking of making the switch? The government is currently offering up to £2,500 off eligible low-emission vehicles—built right into the dealer’s price. Check out the full list of qualifying vehicles on the official government website.
And it’s not just here—EV charging points are popping up all over the UK. Use Zap Map to find a charger near your destination and hit the road with confidence.
Car Sharing
One way of reducing the costs of travelling by car is to ‘car share’ or ‘liftshare’. As well as saving you the money you will also help the environment by reducing your carbon footprint. It’s also a great way to meet new people and make new friends!
Car sharing can be done travelling to work, going shopping, on the school run – in fact on any journey you make!
Why not try it out, to search for other people travelling on similar routes to you? There are public car share databases which enable you to search for journey matches and these are all FREE to use:

National Events
Earth Day occurs on the 22nd April every year. Founded in 1970, it mobilises people across the globe to shape and protect the planet. The theme for 2027 is ‘Food For Our Planet’. Throughout April, there will be events and fundraising campaigns to support healthier food systems which connect human health, thriving ecosystems, and resilient communities. This gives us an opportunity to think critically about the source of our food, how it affects people, the environment, and how we can live more sustainably.
