Flood Risk & Utilities Assessment

As part of initial site appraisals, SMA are able to advise upon flood risk and utilities matters, to assess whether a particular site is likely to be feasible. These studies help to identify key considerations to be subject to further assessment, identify particular constraints and costs and provide a preliminary assessment and consultation with key stakeholders.

To establish existing services within proximity of a site, we have trained personnel who undertake detailed Utilities searches, quickly and cost effectively for our clients. We will collate all utility information and produce a detailed report, which helps to provide key information on what lies underground.

Completing this study at an early stage in the development process helps to establish what is needed and whether any upgrades or diversions are required to accommodate your development proposals. It also helps to shape your development in the event that existing services run through the site.
