Sports, Recreation & Leisure

SMA has assisted a range of clients on various leisure schemes since its formation in 1988.

This has ranged from technical reports to support planning applications, to detailed structural design. Recent schemes include:

  • Design of a new pavilion (The Graeme Hick Pavilion) for Worcestershire County Cricket Club, which has now been constructed in place of the old members’ pavilion
  • Winchester Leisure Centre
  • Preparation of transport/drainage documentation to support SANG applications.
  • Preparation of detailed S.278 Agreement for SANG, pedestrian/cycle routes and sports facilities
  • Approval of leisure facilities as part of mixed-use development (including sports pitches, leisure centres and stadiums)

If you require any further assistance with your scheme please contact a member of our team.
