Parkrun 100
In February Stuart Michael Associates’ (SMA) Graduate Transport Planner, Alice Connolly, hit her target of completing 100 Parkrun’s in February! Parkrun is a 5km run which takes place on Saturday mornings all around the world.
Alice will also be completing the Reading Half Marathon in March and the Great North Run in September. She hopes to raise £1,000 for various charities by the end of the year. You can donate to Alice’s page using this link www.justgiving.com/fundraising/alicelouiseconnolly.
Spring Travel Planning
SMA’s transport team has recently been successful in obtaining consents / discharging conditions for a number of clients, through the preparation of Travel Plan documents. New residents will soon be the proud owners of our lovely new resident’s packs! Check them out below.
In addition to the Residents Packs, SMA deliver regular newsletters to residents as part of our Travel Plan Co-ordinator Role. These newsletters promote the use of sustainable travel options to encourage a healthy and active lifestyle. SMA also liaise with local bus companies and bike stores to provide rewards and incentives to residents who choose to travel sustainably. A range of activities will be promoted in our newsletters.
