Kirby Cross, Essex
Outline Planning Consent has been granted on Appeal for a residential development of up to 240 dwellings, plus a care facility in Kirby Cross, Essex, following a successful Appeal, which took place in July 2016.
The proposal for the 19 hectare site includes access to the development from Halstead Road, Woburn Avenue and Buckfast Avenue; a children’s play area; kick-about area; parking and a sustainable drainage system.
SMA were pleased to assist Welbeck Strategic Land in securing the consent. SMA provided the evidence base on transport, flood risk and drainage.
Lowsley Farm, Liphook
Easterton Limited has recently been granted planning consent for 330 new homes at Lowsley Farm, Liphook, Hampshire. SMA provided transport/highway support to the scheme, designing the road access into the site and the traffic calming measure for Longmoor Road.
Indicative options for improvements to the Liphook centre roundabouts were put forward and agreed with the Highway authority to address capacity, the local environment and pedestrian routes.
A Transport Assessment and Travel Plan was prepared by SMA to support the planning application.
Our experienced and qualified staff bring commercial awareness and a proactive approach to all commissions, which range from small scale sites to large urban extensions, strategic development and multi-million pound projects.
Whether you require an initial high-level appraisal, completion of technical reports to accompany a Planning Application or detailed design post consent, SMA have the capabilities to do it all.
