Located to the southeast of Ryde town centre, West Acre Park forms part of Westridge Farm, with access via Bullen Road, Appley Road, and Hope Road. Promoted by Captiva Homes, the approximately 38-hectare site would provide much needed homes to the area.

Stuart Michael Associates supported the scheme by providing consultancy services on transport, flood risk and drainage, and utilities, helping to shape a robust and well-connected masterplan.

Key Features

  • 473 new homes, including the conversion of a historic Coach House
  • 35% affordable housing, carefully integrated across the development
  • A diverse mix of single and two-storey homes in various sizes and tenures
  • Community focused facilities including a café, GP surgery, and B1 office space
  • Retention of key heritage assets and removal of redundant agricultural structures
  • Significant infrastructure upgrades, including highways access, internal roads, parking, utilities, and sustainable drainage solutions
  • Three vehicular access points, enhancing connectivity to and from Bullen Road, Appley Road, and Hope Road

This impressive scheme aims to deliver a vibrant, sustainable neighbourhood for Ryde, supported by robust infrastructure and environmental resilience.
